Mindful Living

Through years of Yoga and Meditation practice, I’ve become increasingly aware of what’s happening inside me and around me. I started asking myself:What truly matters to me? What do I really need to be happy? How do I want to spend my time? How do I want to feel each day? What can I let go of?These questions led me to simplify and transform my life—step by step.

Profession
I let go of the endless pursuit of status, titles, and approval. What I truly value is autonomy, meaningful work, and a focused, productive working environment. I left my shiny academic job and became an entrepreneur. For the first time, I feel aligned, highly motivated, and at peace.
Intimate Relationships
I stopped seeking validation through men's love or attention. I want relationships based on mutual respect, support, and growth. I chose to walk away from what didn’t serve me and embraced solitude—where I’ve found the deepest sense of wholeness.
Living Space
I simplified my home to reflect what I really need and enjoy. I replaced my bed with yoga mats that double as a movement and rest space. I kept only the clothes I love and really wear. Decluttering gave me a profound sense of spaciousness.
Digital Space
I removed unnecessary apps, muted Whatsapp group chats, set my phone 24/7 in silence mode. My phone is a productive tool, which it is supposed to be, instead of a source of noise and distractions. My digital world now supports my focus, not fragments it.
Social Space
I stopped spending time in environments or with people that drained me. Now, I choose meaningful connections over empty interactions—and it brings me deep fulfillment.
Mental & Emotional Space
I let go of many negative emotions and self-limiting beliefs that trapped me for years. I stopped seeing myself as a victim and started owning my story. When I filled myself with courage, confidence, optimism, happiness, and peace, my life began to transform.
Mindful living means aligning your life intentionally with what truly matters to you. It’s the path I’ve chosen—and I’d be honored to support you on yours.

My Yoga Journey

As a passionate yoga teacher, I didn’t always love yoga. In fact, at first, I couldn’t understand it at all.Dismissal — "Yoga Looks Like Doing Nothing"
My first experience with Yoga was as a teenager, watching my mum practise. I laughed and thought, “What’s the point? It’s so slow — it looks like doing nothing.” Back then, I was fully into martial arts, drawn to strength, discipline, and intensity. Yoga just didn’t make sense to me.
First Attempt — Trying Yoga for the Wrong Reasons
Years later, during my master’s studies, I gave yoga a try — but not for spiritual reasons. I was lonely and longing for men's love and attention, I tried Yoga because I wanted to impress someone I liked.
Awakening — Finding Stillness Amid Chaos
The turning point came in the summer of 2018. It was a painful period marked by professional stress and heartbreak. Out of ego, I joined a group yoga course just to show off how flexible I was. But during the final relaxation, lying still in Savasana, something shifted. For the first time in ages, I felt truly peaceful. No stress. No sadness. Just stillness. That peaceful moment created a space which I didn’t know I needed.
Exploration— Yoga as a Path of Self-Discovery
Fueled by a mix of curiosity and ego, I enrolled in a yoga teacher training in 2019. What I discovered wasn’t just an intensive physical practice — it was deep thinking and reflecting. I began to question everything: my diet, my relationship with nature, my ideas about success and self-worth. Slowly, yoga became less about the 'poses' and more about self-discovery.
Growth in Stealth Mode — Turning Inward to Heal
From 2019 to 2023, I went inward — what I call my “stealth mode” phase. I read, reflected, healed, and softened. I stopped chasing certificates, titles, and status. I began to listen to myself. I learned to rest when I was tired, to care for myself when anxious, and to live with softness rather than force. As I filled myself more and more from within, I long for less and less validation from the outside.
Stepping Forward — Becoming a Leader
In July 2023, I began teaching yoga professionally. That’s when I realized: teaching Yoga is not about performing; it’s about leading. A real leader doesn’t stand in front to be followed — they stand beside others to help them rise.
In my classes, you’ll find diversity — people of all levels, ages, and needs. And that’s the beauty of it. My role isn’t to make everyone do the same thing, but to help each person meet themselves on the mat, in their own way.Who I Am Today — Energy speaks louder
I believe energy speaks louder than words. Whether I show up as a Yoga teacher, coach, or community builder — who I am and how I act matters more than what I say. And I strive to bring presence, compassion, and connection into every space I enter.

My Journey From Robot to Human: The Power of Focus

Once upon a time, I lived like a robot. My life was programmed as follows: be born, go to school to learn skills, excel in academics, go to university, earn a Bachelor's, then a Master's, then a PhD, secure a decent job after graduation, and work tirelessly until retirement. Somewhere in between, find time to get married and have children.

I followed the program exactly as written. But deep inside, I felt empty. I wasn’t happy, and I didn’t understand why. That emptiness turned into deep anxiety—until I experienced workplace bullying during my first PhD. That period was one of the darkest and most painful times of my life. But it forced me to ask myself: Is this all worth it? What truly matters to me?

During that time, a friend said something that stuck with me:"Yuqing, you are not a robot. You are a lovely human. Go find yourself and live as a human."I didn’t fully understand his words at first. But something inside me shifted, and from that moment on, I began focusing on myself.I began focusing on what truly mattered to me and committed to staying aligned with it. I started saying no to distractions, letting go of relationships that no longer added real value, decluttering my space, and embracing daily practices like yoga and meditation. I made space to process my thoughts and emotions, cultivated mindful tech habits, and shed the small version of myself—stepping into someone bold, grounded, and fully alive.

As I sharpened my focus and stripped away the unnecessary, I found clarity, my confidence grew, and for the first time, I felt in control of my own life. This transformation made me realize my true purpose: helping others who are genuinely committed to positive change. That’s why I became a professional coach—so I can help others master their focus, and live with peace of mind and true happiness.
