Signal Energy

European Energy Storage Startups × Global Investors | Seed–Series B | Deal Flow | Thoughtful Introductions

Overview

The energy storage ecosystem is highly innovative, yet meaningful connections between founders and investors are often constrained by fragmented networks, information asymmetry, and uneven signal quality.I help bridge this gap through thoughtful, high-context introductions across the ecosystem. My background combines PhD-level expertise in materials chemistry with experience spanning IT, business, leadership coaching, and community building. This interdisciplinary perspective enables me to evaluate technological depth, commercialization potential, investor alignment, and founder dynamics with nuance.I also bring a cross-border perspective between Europe and China, helping translate opportunities across markets, capital networks, and industrial ecosystems.

Podcast

Conversations with entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers across the ecosystem.Exploring the real decisions, constraints, and strategies behind building, scaling, and deploying energy innovation in practice.

Curated Deal Flow

I curate high-signal investment opportunities. The emphasis is on quality, technical depth, and investor fit—not volume.Seed – Emerging Technical Breakthroughs
Early-stage companies at the intersection of deep technical innovation and emerging market opportunity. These are teams with strong scientific foundations, clear lab-to-market pathways, and defensible intellectual property positioning, combined with credible commercial ambition.
Series A - Traction & Market Validation
Companies with validated core technology and early commercial traction, where initial customer demand and market fit are becoming visible. Key signals include clear customer validation, improving unit economics, and a credible path toward scalable product-market fit.
Series B - Scaling & Category Leadership
More mature companies scaling across markets, customers, or industrial deployments within the energy transition ecosystem. Focus is on execution quality, operational scalability, repeatable commercial growth, robust unit economics, and disciplined capital deployment for expansion.
This ensures deal flow is selectively filtered based on technical credibility, commercial readiness, and alignment with investor focus areas in the energy transition space.
